October is domestic violence awareness month and a time to further educate ourselves and our community on issues of gender abuse and what we can do to mitigate these incidents.
Out Against Abuse is having its first outreach event with CONNECT on Saturday, November 1st from 2pm – 4pm.
Please come join us to learn more about domestic violence issues and what you can do to encourage discussion and mitigate such problems in our community. We are also hoping to encourage the discussion of such issues amongst the second generation and to promote Out Against Abuse as an innovative online resource for survivors. I hope all of you can come and please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions!
